I'm also curious, why do new topics need to be accepted through a moderator now? Unless it's only for newer people...was there spam issue or something that I haven't seen o.O

You haven't seen spam because of that! There was so much spam, and moderators have to sleep some time. So we denied new posts to members until validated they weren't a bot.

Yeah, over the past year or so, the general trend is a decline in activity. We've had spurts of activity, but compared to a year ago, we're definitely down...
